Vaal Frostguard is a cold casting vaal construct.

Despite it is a skeleton, according to the in-game lore, vaal construct are not the undead that can be raised by a necromancer.

Unlike similar cold casting skeleton, such as Axiom Frostguard, Vaal Frostguard also lacks of internal use monster tag "skeleton", despite it still has the monster tag "undead". It also has construct monster tag, unlike Axiom Frostguard.[1]


Abilities

  • It uses the same generic cold projectile spell SkeletonProjectileCold which is also used by various cold casting skeleton, except those from Summon Skeletons of MagesSummon Skeletons of MagesSpell, Minion, Duration, Prismatic

    Cast Time: 0.50 sec
    Requires Level 10Summon Skeleton Mage minions of random elemental types at the targeted location. They cast projectile spells based on their element, and die after a duration.Maximum (5-7) Summoned Skeletons

    Summons (2-3) Skeleton Mages

    Additional Effects From 1-20% Quality:
    +(0.05-1) to Maximum Summoned Skeletons
