Vaal Frost Guardian is a cold melee vaal construct.

Despite it is a skeleton warrior, according to the in-game lore, vaal construct are not the undead that can be raised by a necromancer, as it is an animated armor that contains a skeleton inside.[1]

Unlike similar cold melee skeleton, such as Frost Guardian and Bleak Aspirant, Vaal Frost Guardian has one more internal use monster tag "construct", while Frost Guardian only has "skeleton" and "undead" tags only.[2][3][4][5]

Note that some Vaal-themed areas are also able to find Frost Guardian.

Abilities

Despite it only has default melee attack, since the monster has the mod 50% of Physical Damage Converted to Cold Damage (or Gain 100% of Physical Damage as Extra Fire Damage for map version), making the monster effectively dealing 50% cold and 50% physical damages.
