Vaal Bone Wardens are melee monsters of type construct found in vaal side areas. They carry a variety of two handed weapons (swords or maces), all of which spark with lightning.

Despite it is a skeleton warrior, according to the in-game lore, vaal construct are not the undead that can be raised by a necromancer, as it is an animated armor that contains a skeleton inside.[1]

Abilities

  • Lightning Damage
    • The monster has different variants which has different ids. But all versions deal some portion of lightning damage by either have damage converted, or gain as extra damage. The portion would also further affected by vaal side area mod and map mod.
  • Resists lightning damage
    • Comparing to normal skeleton, such as its namesake Bone Warden, Vaal Bone Warden has even more resistance to lightning damage
  • Armour
    • The monster belongs to internal use monster types ConstructMeleeLightning or ConstructMeleeLightningMaps, which grant a parameter armour_multiplier = 1.0, that grant this monster some Armour as defence. It has no evasion or ES related parameters, however.
