Vaal Flame Guardian is a fire melee vaal construct that can be found in vaal side areas.

Despite it is a skeleton warrior, according to the in-game lore, vaal construct are not the undead that can be raised by a necromancer, as it is an animated armor that contains a skeleton inside.[1]

Unlike similar fire melee skeleton, such as Flame Guardian, Vaal Flame Guardian has one more internal use monster tag "construct", while Flame Guardian only has "skeleton" and "undead" tags only.[2][3]

Note that some Vaal-themed areas are also able to find Flame Guardian.

  • Resists fire damage
    • Comparing to normal skeleton, such as its namesake Flame Guardian, Vaal Flame Guardian has even more resistance to fire damage
  • Armour
    • The monster belongs to internal use monster types ConstructMeleeFire or ConstructMeleeFireMaps, which grant a parameter armour_multiplier = 1.0, that grant this monster some Armour as defence. It has no evasion or ES related parameters, however.
